Jaimee Reale

Jaimee Makes is a New England-based freelance illustrator and graphic designer who collaborates with a diverse range of clients made up of bands, brands, and everyone in between. With a solid foundation in the arts, Jaimee began her formal training at Massachusetts College of Art and Design before transferring to Boston University College of Fine Arts, where she earned a BFA in graphic design and an MA in studio art education. Initially starting her career as an elementary school art teacher, Jaimee balanced teaching with freelance projects, building her reputation in visual storytelling and hand-illustrated typography. In 2019, she launched her art business under the name "Jaimee Makes," and by 2020, she transitioned fully into freelance work. Since then, her unique approach to illustration—often inspired by music and pop culture—has allowed her to design everything from album covers and band merchandise to logos and branding for local businesses. Jaimee’s work captures her passion for creative expression, often showcasing bold, hand-drawn lettering and thoughtfully crafted designs that resonate with her clients' audiences.
